OneSearch Tools

Now that you’ve found a source that’s perfect for your assignment, click on the title to learn more about it. See Location information for physical materials or follow the link under View Online to access the full-text. If you haven't already signed in to OneSearch, you’ll be asked to login with your Student ID and password before you can access full-text that is available to view online.

  • Citation: Brings up a list of the most popular citation styles. Find the style that’s required for your course and copy/paste the citation into your bibliography (don’t forget to check the citation against a style guide to make sure the robot citation generator got it right).
  • Permalink: This allows you to copy and paste a persistent link or permalink back to the source so you don’t have to go hunting for it again.
  • Email: This is the most useful tool because you can email all the important stuff to any email address. This email will include a persistent link or permalink back to the source in OneSearch so you don’t have to go hunting for it again. Once you are back in OneSearch, you can access the full-text of the source and create a citation.
