Once you have a good understanding of your topic, including who is involved, a time frame or era to focus on, where to place your topic, such as the United States or California, and why it is so important, you will want to locate books that will provide you with credible and reliable information.

Here is an example of using three different chapters from the book Health literacy in nursing: Providing person-centered care.
Terri Ann Parnell writes a chapter entitled "Culture, language, and communication access services." Parnell is the author of several chapters as well as being the editor of the book.
In the same book, Jennifer H. Mieres writes a chapter entitled "Delivering patient-centered care in a diverse environment." Mieres is a contributor to the book's breadth and scope.
The third example is the chapter "Mental health disorders" by Fallon Edwards.
All three chapters deal with disability, health care, and communications.
