Reading and Assignment Overview

This course guide is designed to help you locate secondary sources for three assignments:

  1. Analysis Paper #1: Candide by Voltaire
  2. Analysis Paper #2: Themes
  3. Research Paper: Possible topics include how literature helps us learn to think, how critical thinking improves communication, how good thinkers support arguments, how weak thinking impacts arguments, how critical thinking should be taught in school, and how critical thinking is used in your career field.
