OneSearch

A guide to using the OneSearch Discovery library catalog

OneSearch Filters

Because OneSearch is pulling in sources from nearly all of the library’s databases, you’ll often get thousands of search results. Sources may range from popular magazines and newspaper sources to scholarly or peer-reviewed journal articles and books and videos. Using filters will help you narrow things down to find exactly what you need. You can "Tweak your results" by selecting limiters and filters from the left navigation menu.

Under Availability, choose Available Online for eBooks, or choose Books & Videos in the Library for print books.

Under Resource Type, choose from Articles, Audio Books, Book Chapters, Books, etc. If you do not see what you are looking for, click on the down arrow to show more options.

Under Publication Date, choose a date range or a specific year of publication.

Under Author/Creator, choose works by a specific author, editor, or creator.
