HIST 2232 - J. Altenhofel: Articles

A guide for History 2232-20 (Civil Rights Movement)

Finding Articles in Databases

Search for articles from periodicals (magazines, newspapers, and scholarly journals) in the following databases. From off campus, you will be prompted to log in with your MYTC username and password.

The following databases include primary, scholarly, and popular sources (newspaper and magazine articles). To save time, you can search all of the EBSCOhost databases at once. From the list below, choose ALL EBSCOhost databases and then choose the following databases: Academic Search Complete, America: History and Life with Full Text, Ethnic Diversity Source, History Reference Center, and Military & Government Collection.

When searching database, use the keywords you learned from your search of books. For example: Civil Rights AND United Farm Workers
